I like that you kept the overall colour palette consistent throughout the piece, so the character fits in with the background. Also, it's noticeable that you know where the light-source is and you do the values accordingly.

I do think, though, that you could push the values more: especially in the darker areas, you could make them darker, also considering the fact that you're using a single, strong light-source. Another thing that could be improved is the line weight: try varying the thickness of your lines, making them thicker where there are areas in shadow or where you want to give the impression of weight.
